Kolea Aviation Solutions

Aloha, and thank you for visiting Kolea Aviation Solutions. 

My name is Dave Meeker, and I've been involved in aviation for the last 30 years. I've held many roles in this business: baggage handler, fueler, helicopter mechanic, helicopter crewchief, director of maintenance, maintenance programs engineer, drive system design engineer, structural analyst, aviation safety engineer, airline senior systems engineer, and FAA designated engineering representative. 

For the first 10 years, Kolea Aviation Solutions was run as a small side business alongside of my "day job." When my last employer decided to close shop and retire, I consulted with my family and we decided it was time to pursue the business full time. 

My goal is to support the aviation community when and where its needed. As a DER I can help with aircraft certification projects of all sizes. I am also available for aircraft maintenance management and services.
